SWIR technology has been used for multitude of applications because of its distinct features for long times.

SWIR can be used not only civil applications (solar cell inspection, bottling plant inspection, fruit inspection, fire fighting, etc.), also military applications (camouflage detection, laser guiding, surveillance, night vision systems, boarder monitoring, etc.).
