Can SWIR camera be used to recognize make-up?

As we all know, SWIR camera is known for seeing under disguise, then can it determine if one person wears make-up or not, the basic principle is：

Skin temperature differences: Cosmetics (e.g., foundation, concealer) may affect the thermal radiation properties of the skin. SWIR cameras can detect small changes in skin surface temperature, thereby identifying the difference between the makeup and no-makeup state.

Infrared reflection properties of cosmetics: Different cosmetics (such as eye shadow, lipstick, etc.) have different reflection properties in the infrared band. SWIR cameras can capture these differences and help determine whether someone is wearing cosmetics.

Texture changes: Makeup often changes the natural texture of the skin (such as the visibility of pores). SWIR cameras can analyze changes in skin texture to determine whether makeup is applied.

Infrared spectral characteristics of cosmetic ingredients: Some cosmetic ingredients have specific absorption characteristics in the SWIR spectrum. By analyzing the spectral information in the image, the presence of cosmetics can be identified.

Based on the above analysis, we think SWIR has the potential to recognize make-up, but the shortcoming might be: Light makeup may not be easily detected, while heavy makeup is easier to identify.
