Short-wave infrared (SWIR, usually refers to light with a wavelength of 0.9~1.7μm) is a type of light with a longer wavelength than visible light. These lights cannot be seen by the naked eye or detected by "ordinary cameras". Due to the material properties of the object being detected, some characteristics that cannot be seen under visible light can be presented under SWIR light. Therefore, the characteristics of the object can be detected by a short-wave infrared camera.
GS-SW6401725-80-U is the first scientific deep-cooled SWIR camera in China developed by Gatherstar with very high sensitivity and quantum efficiency in the 0.9-1.7um band. It uses a high-performance cooling design to reduce the chip temperature to -80℃, thereby reducing dark current, achieving ultra-long exposure time, and improving image signal-to-noise ratio. This product does not require water cooling, and the lens interface can be customized according to requirements to meet users' applications in various situations.
